Student Awards-Oral Presentation

Student Oral Presentation Competition Guidelines

The goal of the student oral presentation competition is to encourage students to improve their English presentation skills and to exchange research progress. The symposium will organize a selection committee by inviting several reviewers. The committees will select and recognize the best presentations.

1. Registration information

For Students entering the oral presentation competition, please submit the abstract on the website of 2025 ISCM-2  ( https://2025-iscm-2.conf.tw/ ) before the Abstract Submission Deadline (2024/9/28), and select the “Student Oral Competition” during the abstract submission and registration. The review results and confirmation of acceptance will be announced on 2024/10/15.

2. Grading Information

Competitors must present their papers and respond to questions within the time limit. The following are the selection criteria:

  1. Research Originality 30%
  2. Presentation skill 30%
  3. Q&A performance 30%
  4. Presentational design 10%

Committees will evaluate the presentation score and the final list of award winners for the Student Oral Presentation competition. If two presentations have the same score, the presentation with the higher originality score will be prioritized in the final list.

3. Award Prizes

The Awards for various sessions will be announced prior to the closing ceremony of ISCM-2.
